GMA, Viu, and CreaZion Studios collaboration series 'Beauty Empire' bagged the Best Cinematography (fiction) award in the 2025 Asian Academy Creative Awards, with Jay Abello serving as the director of photography.

Before its highly anticipated “puksaan” finale, revenge drama series Beauty Empire attracted recognition in the 2025 Asian Academy Creative Awards.

The GMA, Viu, and CreaZion Studios collaboration series bagged the Best Cinematography award in the fiction genre, with Jay Abello serving as the director of photography.

The awarding will be held at the Asian Academy Creative Awards grand gala on December 4, 2025 in Capitol Theatre in Singapore. The Asian Academy of Creative Arts is the overseeing body that organizes the annual awards. It honors excellence across multiple platforms including television, feature films, digital, mobile, streaming, and any other emerging technologies in the entire Asia Pacific region.

Beauty Empire is headlined by Barbie Forteza, Kyline Alcantara, Sid Lucero, Sam Concepcion, Chai Fonacier, and Ruffa Gutierrez, together with Gloria Diaz and Choi Bo-Min.

Directed by Mark Sicat Dela Cruz, Beauty Empire is a Viu original series written by Rona Co and Real Florido of CreaZion Studios and produced by GMA Public Affairs.

The series will air its final episode on Thursday, October 2, 9:35 p.m. on GMA and 11:25 p.m. on GTV. It is also available for streaming on Viu.
