Beauty Gonzalez speaks up about her husband's battle with the coronavirus disease.

On Easter Sunday, April 4, actress Beauty Gonzalez spoke up about her husband's trials after testing positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

According to the former reality star and mother of one, Norman battled the dreaded disease and had to be “wheeled off to a hospital” which she wasn't prepared for.

She said on Instagram, “For the last couple of weeks, my life has been put on hold. Everything on my mind and in my heart suddenly changed.

“Norman tested positive for COVID and had to be rushed to a hospital. This world problem suddenly hit home hard and fast, and I wasn't prepared.”

She recalled that a day after the art curator showed symptoms of the diseases, he was alone in the hospital and was struggling for “space and breath” with a dozen of other patients battling COVID.

“I too was alone at home with Olivia, totally in the dark as to what was happening at the hospital,” Beauty said.

“It felt like my world was ending, and I didn't know how or why. All I could recall were the statistics and death tolls I've heard this entire year, how sometimes unbelievable they were, and now how real they have suddenly become.”

She continued, “I didn't know what to do. He couldn't breathe, pneumonia, anything and everything was a possibility with this unstudied disease. No cure, no sure treatment was the only sure thing.”

Because of this, the 29-year-old described that she was “going out of her mind” and would often call anyone to give her a sense of hope.

“I was trying to be brave for Olivia, who somehow must have felt that nothing was right,” she said.

Aside from taking care of their daughter, Beauty knew that the only thing she can do for now was to pray.

One day, her husband called her and asked her not to worry because “everything's gonna be alright.”

Soon enough, he came home, recovered, and free from the disease.

“Nothing will ever be the same again. Family is EVERYTHING,” she concluded.
