Filipina beauty queens Catriona Gray and Michelle Dee admit that having a smartphone nowadays is a must to keep track of their daily grind.

During Samsung's “Join the Flip Side” event on Wednesday, August 16, the two beauty queens talked about their new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and how it helped them become more productive.

In an interview with the host, Erika Kristensen, Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle said her new smartphone “empowers and enables my productive self.”

“I am an actress, an advocate, and it really gives me that sense of motion and productivity. I can do with the Z Fold 5 and that's what I really love about it.”

Michelle added that she particularly liked the Galaxy Z Fold5's immersive 7.6” main display and its sleeker S Pen.

“I love the large display of the Z Fold 5. Of course, with that I can take some notes, I can read my script. I can do so much, especially when it's paired with the S Pen that's newly redesigned. I just love that it gives me the ease of use just like a canvas.”

Likewise, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona highlighted that split screen feature of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 because it gives her an opportunity to multitask while planning for her wedding with actor Sam Milby.

She related, “I don't know about you, guys, but I've always been a note-taker even though they've digitized everything and everyone's really typing sitting down. I really process better when I write, so the phone paired with the S Pen is like a combination made in heaven.

“Before, my notes would be scattered everywhere across different devices. Now, my phone is just like a little PC [personal computer] in my pocket with all of my notes. I can open up multiple applications all at once and just drag different sketches.

“I mean, I'm wedding planning at the moment, so I'm making vision boards and things I wanna send to the designers and things like that… It's really easy to translate my creativity through the Galaxy Z Fold 5. If you're creative and you wanna be proactive, efficient, and just keep all your busyness in one place, the Fold is your device.”

Joining Catriona and Michelle in the event were AC Bonifacio, who kept the crowd hyped up throughout the night with an energetic performance; entrepreneur Nico Bolzico, lifestyle content creator Camille Co, and singer-songwriter Leila Alcasid.

Aside from the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Samsung also launched the new Galaxy Z Flip 5. It features the versatility of its Flex Cam that gives users various hands-free selfie options and its Flex Window widgets on its biggest cover yet, at 3.4 inches, to be more productive while on the go.

The event also highlighted the new Galaxy Watch6 series and the Galaxy Tab S9, which can both easily be connected to the Galaxy smartphones.
