Check out these beauty brands and their existing campaign for a zero-waste lifestyle!

Beauty junkies would know that it's tough switching to a zero-waste lifestyle when your holy grail products come in plastic.

And luckily for us, a few brands have heard our call and are slowly making the switch of using recyclable materials to having refilling stations around the metro.

Whatever floats your boat, we've listed down a few brands that have helped us look beautiful as well as the planet too.

All Things Hair Refillery

Price: 46 to 58 centavos per gram
Location: Trinoma, Glorietta 3, and Alabang Town Centre

You've probably heard the buzz around Unilever's All Things Hair Refillery when they opened last March. If not, then think refilling stations where you can use your empty reusable bottles to fill it with the brand's most loved products like shampoos and conditioners from Cream Silk, Sunsilk, Dove, and Tresemme. If you don't have a bottle on hand you can purchase a 100% recyclable bottle for just ₱10.00! And if you've got extra bottles, you can easily donate them for upcycling.

Messy Bessy

Aside from their all-natural and zero toxin products, Messy Bessy has been offering refilling stations since 2018. The products that are available for refill are their signature Disinfectant Aroma Spray, Dish Cleaner Aloe Green Tea, and Room & Linen Spray Lavender. Simply bring your old Messy Bessy container or any reusable container for refilling.

Human Nature

Like All Things Hair, Human Nature recently opened their refilling stations last March 2019. They offer refills for basic essentials like the Baby Bottle & Utensil Cleanser, Baby Liquid Laundry Detergent, Liquid Detergent, and Natural Dishwashing Liquid. Plus, for every refill, you are able to save ₱10.00 if you bring your old Human Nature Home Care bottles.

Love Beauty and Planet

Location: Marketplace Rockwell, Rustan's Makati, Marketplace Central Square, Mall of Asia

If you're still not used to buying shampoo bars, you can always choose to recycle old bottles that help a certain cause. This is what Love and Beauty Planet do with their 100% biodegradable bottles. They encourage their customers to return cleaned bottles to their return box. Each bottle will be used to help build a soup kitchen in Bulacan and provide nutritious meals for impoverished children.
