In the previous week of 'Because of You,' Jaime (Gabby Concepcion) finally told his children that he and Andrea (Carla Abellana) have reconciled and are planning to marry.

In the previous week of Because of You, Cheska (Joyce Ching) tried to reconcile her parents, Jaime (Gabby Concepcion) and Veronica (Valerie Concepcion), by locking them in a storage closet but Jaime got angry and scolded them. Cheska later met Nate (Kristoffer Martin), who helped her get home and returned her lost wallet. They spend time together and Cheska opened up about her painful past relationships.

After spending weeks together, Jaime finally told the kids that he and Veronica can no longer be together. The children then learn that Jaime and Andrea (Carla Abellana) have reconciled and are planning to marry.

Meanwhile, Feliza (Celia Rodriguez) overheard Veronica's conversation and blamed her for the children's actions, warning that they nearly put Andrea in danger. Henry (Carlo Gonzalez) found Veronica and encouraged her to get the money they needed to leave, but Andrea discovered them together.
