In the previous episode of 'Because of You,' Jaime (Gabby Concepcion) finds himself torn as tensions within his family rise and conflicts over his relationship with Andi (Carla Abellana) intensify.

In the previous episode of Because of You, Jaime (Gabby Concepcion) defended his relationship with Andi (Carla Abellana) to his mother, Feliza (Celia Rodriguez), who remained convinced that Andi was only after his wealth. Feliza gave Jaime two weeks to tell his children about his relationship before she would do it herself.

Meanwhile, Veronica (Valerie Concepcion) secretly reunited with her children and manipulated them into believing she was the one abandoned by Jaime. Despite Feliza's disapproval, the children insisted Veronica stay the night. Veronica later suggested a family dinner, forcing Jaime to juggle time between his family and a separate dinner with Andi at the same restaurant.

Veronica also visited Jaime's office, where Patricia (Bettina Carlos) offered to secretly keep her informed about Jaime's schedule and help sabotage his relationship with Andi.
