After taking on various roles in four afternoon soaps, she entered the primetime scene as Ester Paredes in Super Twins, which served as a springboard for a larger fan base. Playing a mother to twins in the series, Marian had people surprised that someone so young could pull off such a mature character. The true test of her acting prowess, however, came when she auditioned for the meatiest role any Pinay actress could ever hope for. When news came out that she bagged the title, many were pleasantly taken aback. Some asked, out of all the stars out there, why Marian? All it takes is one look at her audition tape to be certain.
