“Ben&Ben giving us the assurance that we've been longing for,” wrote a netizen on Twitter as the indie-folk pop band released their latest single “'Di Ka Sayang.”
On midnight, November 6, the nine-member group released their new song about “self-acceptance and embracing who you are.”
The lyrics go, “'Di ka sayang, 'di kailangang manghinayang. 'Di ka sayang, 'di kailangang patunayan. Sarili ay mahalaga kahit pa ano'ng tingin nila. Tanggap kita.”
According to the band, the single will lead the “new era” of their music.

Fans of the band have connected the new single to an old tweet by singer and guitarist Paolo Benjamin, who seemingly teased the song a month before its release.
“Isa sa mga paboritong sabihin sa'tin ng ibang matatanda ay 'alam mo, sayang ka.' Hindi 'yun totoo. Kailanman,” he wrote.

You are not a failure. You are worthy to be loved despite of your shortcomings. You may dislike yourself sometimes, but there is probably someone out there who loves you and accept you exactly as you are.
