After doing their musical covers of famous K-pop songs, indie-pop folk band Ben&Ben is back!
But this time around, they performed covers of their favorite Original Pinoy Music (OPM) songs in various genres.
With the help of a spinning wheel app, the nine-member band performed a ballad version of Buklod's “Tatsulok,” a disco genre of Bayani Agbayani's “Otso Otso,” a funk version of Dice and K9's “Itsumo,” a reggae version of SB19's “Go Up,” and a hard rock version of their very own “Pagtingin.”
The 15-minute video showcased the group's talent for improvisation as they performed each song with ease.
Even the group couldn't believe their performance because after performing “Go Up” in reggae, percussionist Andrew de Pano said, “That's not bad, ha. It's good.”
Which led guitarist Poch Barretto to ask, “Should we change genres?”
