Kapuso stars Benjamin Alves and Janine Gutierrez are set to dominate the big screen as they already started taping for 'Dagsin,' a film which will be showcased in Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival and Competition next year.

Dagsin, an Ilocano word which means heaviness or weight, revolves around the story set during the Japanese era and Martial Law.

Former 'Beautiful Strangers' star Benjamin will play the role of Justino, the paraplegic husband of Corazon which will be portrayed by 'Dangwa' lead actress Janine.
