Adarna
cast member Benjamin Alves admitted that he did not watch a single episode of the GMA Telebabad show while it was airing. He only started watching when it ended last March.

Ben portrayed two roles; that of Bok, a street-smart kanto boy and Agalon, the lead antagonist’s half-brother.

“I've never watched a show when it was airing, but I started watching it recently kasi I don't like to watch it when it's happening eh… I’m able to take out myself from the character, so napapanood ko siya as Bok, not me playing Bok,” he said.

Although it was him giving life to the characters, watching himself playing two characters, Bok especially, surprised him.

“Sabi ko, 'ako ba yan?' Surprisingly, nakakatuwa naman… Sa totoong buhay, baka hindi ko kayang gawin 'yung [mga ginagawa ni Bok] eh. It's nice to have an outlet na maging ganun, maging kwela, maging spontaneous or whatever. Sana mapunta sa totoong buhay,” he shared, smiling.

Only over a month since the show ended, Ben said that he already misses Adarna, and being part of it.

“I miss the show, I miss the bonding with the cast, especially the latter part na palagi kaming nasa Subic. Nakakamiss yun. I miss our EPs, everyone… For me, I miss playing Bok talaga. Hopefully, I’m able to play someone as earthy, as real as Bok (again),” he declared.
