Ayon kay Benjamin Alves, may mga bago siyang nadiskubre tungkol sa sarili matapos sumailalim sa acting workshop ng New York-based coach na si Anthony Bova.
Ibinahagi ni Benjamin Alves ang kanyang naging experience sa patuloy na pagwo-workshop sa New York-based acting coach na si Anthony Bova.
Ayon kay Benjamin, ito ay isang holistic experience dahil marami silang nadidiskubre tungkol sa kanilang mga sarili.
Nasa sophomore year na si Benjamin sa pagwo-workshop kay Anthony.
"Super holistic, we don't only become a better actor. You're consistently discovering new things about yourself.
“'Yun 'yung maganda sa kanya po, because you're discovering more about yourself.
“You become a better person and then because of that, you have such a great foundation.
“You feel protected and empowered."
Anthony Bova is back in Manila for another acting workshop with Kapuso talents
Inilahad din ni Benjamin ang importansya nito bilang aktor sa industriya.
"As an actor, if you're well-equipped and you know the techniques and the process, then you're in a good place."
Isa rin sa ibinahagi ni Benjamin ay ang kaibahan ng teaching technique ni Anthony sa pag-arte.
"Alagang-alaga po kami. Yung success, he wants that for us. 'Yung awards he really wants that for us.
“To perform, to become employed he wants that for us.
“But he doesn't want that, to get that, at the expense na maging malungkot kami or stressed kaming mga tao.
“'Yun 'yung pinakaimportante. That's what is so different in his approach with us as actors."
