GMA Artist Center just launched a new show titled How Do You Feel?: Usapang Artista, last Saturday, June 6.
The online show was produced by acting coach Ana Feleo and Artist Center talents Chynna Ortaleza, Benjamin Alves, and Mikoy Morales.
Facilitated by Ana, the first episode had artists sharing insights on acting, dealing with pressure, and bringing an actor's best self on the set to the new breed of actors.
They were also joined by award-winning actor Gabby Eigenmann as special guest; and up-and-coming artists Elle Villanueva and Sophia Senoron.
Benjamin, Mikoy, Elle and Sophia headlined a Zoom press conference that was held on Tuesday.
During the interview, they were asked about how they've been keeping themselves sane during the community quarantine, which was brought about by the threat of COVID-19 disease.
Sophia talked about it first and bared that she was still lost in her emotions and thoughts.
“At this point, I'm not even sure if my sanity or what I do as normal is considered sanity already kasi nagbabago lahat ng perspective ko everyday, nagbabago 'yung principles ko, 'yung values ko, 'yung morals ko.
“So in terms of sanity, I don't even know if I'm in the right mental state but all I can say is I'm taking it one day at a time. I'm absorbing, I'm being receptive, and I'm studying all of it,” she said.

On the other hand, Elle shared her methods on how she keeps herself rational.
“Ako personally, it's hard to keep yourself sane especially nasa quarantine tayo. There comes a time na when you're not productive at all parang you feel a little depressed.
“Ako, simple lang. I listen to podcasts, mga self-help books, I read them and then I talk to friends,” Elle related.
Meanwhile, Benjamin said that he was fine during the first few months of quarantine but now feeling the gravity of the situation.
“I've been relatively fine the first three months, siguro from working a lot parang nagkaroon ka ng time na manood ng buong series, mag-binge watch.
“But then now, after three months, du'n pa lang yata pumapasok 'yung anxiety of what probably everybody felt the first few weeks na, 'Anong gagawin ko?'
“Kasi parang natapos ko na 'yung lahat ng kailangan kong panoorin. Parang naubusan na. So I'm having anxiety thinking of what is going to happen tomorrow.
“I'm been trying to find a routine. I'm trying to workout and run in the parking lot of our condo.
"Again, I'm just trying to make sure that I'm looking forward to it. I think everyone will get that, looking for something as normal again,” he shared.
Mikoy also related that he learned to acknowledge the entire spectrum of his feelings while on quarantine.
“Ako naman as much as possible, I try to listen to my body like kung anong sinasabi niya. If I need to be productive or need to keep myself busy I do.
“But also when I feel like doing nothing, I also acknowledge that isang buong araw nakahilata lang ako.
“Kanya-kanya naman 'yan kung anong epekto, e. Even most random things make you angry and even the simplest things make you happy, stuff like that.
“I think part of what's keeping me sane these past few months is acknowledging the entire spectrum of what you could feel habang nangyayari itong quarantine,” he said.
How Do You Feel?: Usapang Artista happens every Saturday at 8 p.m. on GMA Artist Center YouTube channel and GMA Network Facebook Page.
