Kapuso hunk Benjamin Alves shares his passion for reading in GMA Artist Center's online show, 'Cool Hub.'
Kapuso leading man Benjamin Alves was the guest star in the latest episode of the online show Cool Hub, which was streamed last Saturday, September 26.
Hosted by Chinito Cutie Manolo Pedrosa who is also passionate in reading books.

During the interview, Benjamin shared that what he loves about reading is the knowledge he gains from it.
“I've been an advocate and I'm passionate about reading books. Actually, it's not the books itself but the stories that you can learn from it.
“Creative writing, anything that has to do with story-telling, it's something that I'm passionate about,” he said.
He also related his interest in reading spiked at age five. At the time, his attention was diverted to comic books.
“It started from reading comic books, collecting comic books. I still have them wala lang dito sa Pilipinas. Tapos magazines, articles, anything that's interesting to me or spike my interest,” he added.

The actor, who grew up in Guam, likewise said that his love for books grew since his summer vacations were spent on reading.
“When I was growing up I didn't take summer vacations. Basically 'pag summer sa school, 'pag walang pasok nasa bahay lang kami. It was either going on the internet or reading books.
“Thankfully we have a good public library system in Guam. I am able to read books that way,” he added.
Meanwhile, as a reading advocate, Benjamin noted that interest for a particular subject is what drives people into reading books or any other reading materials.
“I think it's hard to instill to the young ones how to force them to read books na hindi naman nila gusto. So, I think when it's something interesting to them, I think you don't have to push them too much para magbasa. That's the same with me,” he added.
GMA Artist Center show Cool Hub is hosted by Ayra Mariano, Yasser Marta, Myrtle Sarrosa, and Manolo Pedrosa. The online program, produced right in their respective homes, features the different collections and hobbies of the stars and other enthusiasts.
Cool Hub is among the shows that premieres on GMA Artist Center's YouTube channel.
