Being stuck in traffic is a normal day-to-day scenario for many Metro Manila residents. The huge volume of cars plowing the major roads and poor infrastructure are just some of the many causes why the nation's capital has one of the worst traffic situations in the world.
In a 2014 report by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA), the country loses Php 2.4 billion daily due to Metro Manila traffic.
So how does Manila residents cope with this horrible road condition?
We asked the anchors of the newest digital newscasts of GMA News and Public Affairs Stand For Truth to share their advice on the best mobile apps that you should have in your phone to beat the Manila traffic!

S potify has revolutionized how we consume music. It is a digital service that provides us access to millions of songs.
For Kapuso resident analyst Richard Heydarian, Spotify is your best buddy to have a relaxing trip even though the traffic is at snail's pace. Some of the songs he listen to in Spotify includes classical music, techno and emotional music.
Richard tells GMANetwork.com, “I'm a Pisces, I'm a quote, unquote hopeful romantic not hopeless romantic. So I really need emotional music.”
Meanwhile, Unang Hirit host Joyce Pring uses a FaithPlay app to have a relaxing time despite the heavy traffic. FaithPlay brings all the best Christian podcasts into one easy-to-use app.
