Bettinna Carlos took to Instagram her appreciation for her fiancé Mikki Eduardo after having an episode of temper while preparing for their wedding.
Bettinna felt Mikki didn't have the level of enthusiasm and involvement for their big day.
She shared, “Kasi feeling ko ako lang nagpaplano ng Kasal ko (with my siblings and in-laws eh kasal namin 'to) I felt sad Mik wasn't so into details... But really I was expecting him to be a girl like me!!! Na anytime I say anything about the wedding he should be ready and giddy ganyan... (eh iba ang wiring niya bilang lalaki siya 'di ba.) Eh all that's really important for him is: MAIKASAL SA AKIN. Yun lang. Everything else, secondary na. Palamuti na. I failed to see and appreciate that. Hay Bettinna Carlosssss. Isisi natin sa hormonezzz love?”
The former Kapuso star confronted her fiancé about it and came to a realization.
Bettinna said, “When I opened up to him about my feelings, he responded and said, 'Ok love, let's sit down and share our priorities.' And he showed me this shortlist of just 3 things: to honor God and our family, share our testimony with family as witness and for me to be happy. Yun ang priorities niya. (Along with his 2 other requests: long tables and fairy lights).
“From then on, he became sooooo hands on. Filling up forms, personally applying for our clearance and permits. Parang bigla nashift ang tables. Hehe, thankful for you my Love!”
She also imparted to her fellow brides-to-be and followers the three lessons she gained after her moment of “tantrums.”
She highlighted how your partner may uniquely handle the preparations for your wedding, how you should “protect your oneness,” and how to always keep communication lines open especially.
