Just like most moms tending to their children these days, actress Bettinna Carlos is making sure her daughter Gummy is developing her talents during the quarantine --- one of them would have to be learning the piano.

In Bettinna's latest Instagram post, she shared how persistent Gummy was in learning the skill despite the lack of an instrument.

She wrote, “Gummy always sees the Simplypiano app ad and she'd tell me that she can learn to play even in just a week.

“I honestly kind of ignored initially because I previously enrolled her in piano for one quarter but she easily got over it so soon. She whined after the first sesh kesyo ngawit kaagad, etc.

“So this time I wasn't convinced.”

Gummy then made amends by learning the piano by downloading the app Garage Band through their iPad. Eventually, she'd then given up because her mom kept using the iPad for her “many Zoom meetings.”

Fortunately for Gummy, her mom learned that a friend bought a piano and started learning on the side too.

She added, “I felt the Lord moving in my heart. The next day, I ordered a unit and it was delivered last Monday.

“Gummy didn't really expect this. She was in tears because she was not bugging me to buy her piano and I just did. She said that she was praying for it too.

“I am amazed at how God honors persistent prayers and how He moves! Never thought I'd buy so soon.”

In the same post, she attached several video clips of Gummy playing the piano with the assistance of the mentioned app.

THE PIANO & THE PARABLE OF THE PERSISTENT FRIEND. 😊😊😊 It has been a week since Gummy received an answer to her prayer. She did not expect to receive an actual piano so soon. But God has His ways of answering prayers by moving people's hearts aka mine.❤ Gummy always sees the Simplypiano app ad and shed tell me that she can learn to play even in just a week. I honestly kind of ignored initially because I previously enrolled her in piano for 1 quarter but she easily got over it so soon. She whined after the first sesh kesyo ngawit kaagad etc. So this time I was not so convinced. I reasoned that my phone is also full and no space to download. Besides wala naman siyang piano! But she discovered garage band on the ipad! (Later she revealed she was not so pleased with nor encouraged by the teacher.) After much persistence she got to download the app in Yatch's phone! 2weeks ago she started just playing piano on the ipad, which we share. A few days later I asked why she wasnt playing anymore cos I dont see na and she wasnt borrowong the ipad (in my head naku eto na naman). She said Ive been using it kasiand I had so many zoom mtgs. (Aba ang patient naman I said to myself). Natouch ako. Simultaneously, a good friend just randomly shared hat she bought a piano and started learning too. I felt the Lord moving in my heart. The next day I ordered a unit & it was delivered last Monday.😊 G didnt really expect this. She was in tears because she was not bugging me to buy her piano and I just did! She said that she was praying for it too. I am amazed at how God honors persistent prayers. And how He moves! Never thought Id buy so soon too!❤ Truly as her shirt says with God nothing is impossible.😊 This little episode of ours reminded me of Luke 11:5-8. Not because she was makulit. But more because we have a Father who knows all and all powerful to move!🙌 Owning a piano has been a blessing to us. We are learning together and in less than a week G has been playing worship songs! Namely Way-maker and Reckless Love.❤😭 Thank you Lord for touching my heart and using @joweesprudence . Our home has been merrier since! #GummyBites
