Bianca and JC held their intimate beach wedding in Palawan in 2014.
Host Bianca Gonzalez-Intal shared the sweet story on she met her husband JC Intal.
Contrary to what people expect, she never met the former PBA star when they were studying in Ateneo. Instead, she was introduced to him by painter Didi Lopa.
Bianca recalled, “A lot of people think that my husband and I met in college because we both went to Ateneo. But actually, we never met when we were still students!”
She added, “The real story of how we met isn't anything grand or cinematic. It was around 5 years after graduating that he saw me from across the court when we both happened to watch an Ateneo game in Araneta Coliseum. He asked a common Tita of ours for my number, and several weeks after that was the first time we met. That Tita is Tita Didi Lopa, between us here in this photo. Our matchmaker!”
Didi replied to Bianca's story on Instagram saying, “Love at first sight for @jcintal7. People come together for a reason.”

The couple exchanged “I Do's” in a dreamy wedding in Palawan in December 2014 and now have two daughters, Lucia and Carmen Eliana.
Meanwhile, JC-who played for the Phoenix Fuel Masters-decided to hang up his jersey in March 2021 after 13 years of playing in the PBA.
