Bianca Umali thanked Luis Manzano for taking care of her and making her feel at home during their brief hosting stint together.
On the latest episode of Luis Manzano's online talk show, Luis Listens, he spoke with one of GMA Network and Sparkle GMA Artist's finest, Bianca Umali.
It was a fun and carefree interview made stronger by their previous project as co-host on the noontime show It's Your Lucky Day.
As part of their conversation, Bianca and Luis looked back on their experience at the game show where the Kapuso star shared her jitters while working with Kapamilya artists and how Luis made her stay memorable.
“I was honestly nervous about it kasi, una, [ito ay] bagong show, tapos [ginawa] sa kabilang network.” Bianca said when asked about her reaction when she received the casting call for the noon-time show.
She also added that her amazement was over the top because of Luis Manzano's addition to the cast, when in fact, he was her and her grandmother's favorite TV host for a long time.
“Pinapanuod ka namin dati… So, I didn't know what to react [kapag nakita kita] or sino ang una kong kakausapin.” Bianca shared.
The Kapuso star was also thankful to Luis for taking care of her and making her feel at home despite being from another network.
According to Bianca, this made her feel welcomed and more excited at every taping and live show for It's Your Lucky Day.
When Luis asked Bianca about her favorite and unforgettable moment in the show, the actress noted the instance when she was the first time she was introduced as one of the hosts.
“Hindi ko in-expect na may ganoong entrance [at] pagpapakilala, and [with that] I felt so valued. Again, I was nervous because nasa kabilang network [ako], so hindi ako sanay sa environment and how much people knew me and value me on [ABS-CBN]. But everything na kinatatakutan ko [at] kinakaba ko was the opposite.” she explained.
Luis also shared how he was very grateful for working with Bianca Umali, saying it was one of his favorite moments as part of It's Your Lucky Day.
It's Your Lucky Day was a Philippine noon-time variety show from ABS-CBN that aired from October 14 - 27, 2024 as a temporary replacement for It's Showtime because of its suspension.
The noontime show also aired on GTV.
