'Ella Arcangel: Awit ng Pangil at Kuko' star Bianca Umali went to the opening of the Benilde Animation Festival at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.
Bianca Umali is set to hit the big screen as she is the voice behind the title role Ella in the upcoming GMA Pictures animated film, Ella Arcangel: Awit ng Pangil at Kuko.
As seen on GMA Pictures' social media post, the Sparkle actress graced the Benilde Animation Festival at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde in Manila.
In the post, Bianca was all-smiles at the event, where the prototype of her character can be seen.
"Bianca Umali, who will portray Ella Arcangel in the upcoming animated film from GMA Pictures, attended the opening of the Benilde Animation Festival at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.
"The Benilde Animation Festival (BAF) was organized to showcase and celebrate the talents of student animators while promoting the growth of the Philippine animation industry,” the caption reads.
In an interview with GMANetwork.com in early June, Bianca shared how she prepared for her role in the animated film, saying that she consulted with a dubbing facilitator on how to be a dubbing talent.
“Hindi ako sumalang nang hilaw ako. And so, I really did lock myself in for one whole week and really sat down with a dubbing facilitator, a dubbing actor dito sa Pilipinas, to learn really from scratch lahat ng kung paano ba maging isang dubbing talent,” she said.
