As you all know, the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale in Manila 2020 is drawing near.
Filipino book lovers, the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale is back in PH on Valentine's Day!
But as much as the world's biggest 24-hour book sale is ready to welcome many Filipino bibliophiles on Valentine's Day, they also care about their customers' well-being, especially now that there's an increasing concern regarding the global spread of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus.
Therefore, the Big Bad Wolf team is making an effort to implement safety precautions on the highly anticipated event.
In a press release sent to GMANetwork.com, the organizers said, “The team behind the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale are making it their utmost priority to secure everyone attending the Sale from the threat of contamination.”
As part of the health precautions to ensure the safety and security of Filipino book lovers, a medical team will be deployed onsite to check the body temperature of all visitors and employees using infrared thermometers at the entrance and exit.
Visitors with high body temperatures will be “prohibited from entering the venue.”
They are also advised to bring their own face masks and wear them before and during the event.
Once they are cleared in the screening, visitors will then proceed to the 'sanitation area' where hand sanitizers will be placed. Hand sanitizers will also be readily available at the customer service area, food concessionaire area, and the exit points in order to maintain good hygiene.
As for the employees, they are strictly directed to wear face masks and those who are not feeling well will be immediately sent for a medical check-up.
Lastly, visitors attending the Book Sale are also “urged to cooperate with the guidelines by taking sanitary and precautionary measures to ensure the safest book hunting experience for everyone.”
The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale Manila 2020 will be held at the World Trade Center, Pasay City, Metro Manila from February 14 to 24, 2020.
