Jin of the Korean supergroup BTS will be discharged from the military soon and the group's record label officially released an announcement regarding it.
BigHit Music on Tuesday posted the happy news about the vocalist's upcoming military discharge on Weverse.
"We are excited to bring you the news of Jin's upcoming military discharge. Jin is close to completing his active service in the army and will soon be discharged," the announcement read.
Jin was the first member of BTS to enlist in the military last December 2022.
At the same time, BigHit reminded that Jin's discharge day is "reserved for military personnel only" and that no special events are planned on that day.
The record label also "strongly advised" fans to avoid visiting the site to "prevent any issues arising from overcrowding."
"Please convey your warm regards and encouragement in your hearts. We are always grateful for your unwavering love and support for Jin," it continued.

Meanwhile, the announcement was made days ahead of BTS's 11th anniversary on June 13.
In an earlier announcement, BigHit said Jin will be hosting an in-person event as part of the group's anniversary celebration or the BTS Festa.
"This event was prepared in order to fulfill Jin's wish to spend meaningful time with ARMY in person on BTS's debut day," a part of the announcement read.
The members of BTS are currently fulfilling their mandatory military services.
The group is set to reconvene in 2025. \
