GMA dropped the first teaser for the upcoming GMA Afternoon Prime series Binibining Marikit as part of its new offerings this 2025 when the Network celebrates its 75th anniversary.

The teaser opens with Marikit, played by Herlene Budol, going on top of a rock formation near the Tinipak River in Tanay, Rizal.

Conflict arises when a lady, played by Almira Muhlach, places an interest in investing in a leisure resort project in Daraitan, a municipality in Tanay. The tension loosens up after Ikit defends their beautiful territory from potential abuse in a humorous way.

The teaser also showed the character of Pokwang overseas, wishing her daughter could also see the beauty of Japan.

At the end of the video, Herlene's two leading men in Binibining Marikit, Tony Labrusca and Kevin Dasom, were introduced. Other cast members Cris Villanueva and Thea Tolentino were also introduced in the said teaser.

Also part of the cast of Binibining Marikit are Ashley Rivera, John Feir, Jeff Moses, and Migs Almendras.

Directed by Jorron Lee Monroy, the series is set to premiere on February 10 on GMA Afternoon Prime.
