Filipino pageant fans and followers have another delegate to support as Binibining Pilipinas International Angelica Lopez is set to depart for the Miss International pageant in Japan.
In one of the more recent posts on its official Instagram account, the Binibining Pilipinas organization announced that a send-off has been arranged for Binibining Pilipinas International 2023 Angelica Lopez.
Angelica's send-off is going to take place at the Quantum Skyview at the Gateway Mall 2 on October 24, at 3 p.m. In the caption to the post, the Binibining Pilipinas organization called on pageant fans to show their “love and support” as she represents the country.
Angelica Lopez represented Pampanga during the 2023 Binibining Pilipinas pageant. Anna Valencia Lakrini was hailed as Binibining Pilipinas Globe in the 2023 pageant.
The 2024 edition of the Binibining Pilipinas pageant, meanwhile, crowned Myra Esguerra as Angelica's successor. Myra will compete in the 2025 Miss International pageant.

Angelica will seek to be the successor to the current reigning Miss International Andrea Rubio, who triumphed over more than 60 candidates to bring home the crown to Venezuela. The beauty queen was here in the country back in July and gave the current crop of Binibining Pilipinas candidates advice.
“My advice to them is to have fun and do something that they're going to be proud of five years from now. They have to do it with their soul. They have to put their heart and hard work into it. My message would be to compete and compete in a good way,” she said.
The title holder also shared how her life changed after winning the Miss International crown.
“It's been a rollercoaster. Because you get one win, and then you lose, and then you get another win. And that's life. It's not just a straight line. It has a line that has long curves,” she shared. “It's about handling those curves the best way you can and trying to remember any single experience that you have because it's a treasure to be here.”
