The Binibining Pilipinas organization is looking for new queens to continue its legacy.
Aspiring beauty queens have yet another avenue to showcase their talents and win a crown as one of the country's long-running pageants has announced that they are now accepting applications.
In one of the more recent posts on its Instagram account, the Binibining Pilipinas organization announced that they are now searching for the next Binibining Pilipinas queens. Now in its 60th year, the Binibining Pilipinas organization called on interested applicants to continue the group's legacy by applying. The post also included links to download the application form as well as information on where to drop it off.
Interested applicants to Binibining Pilipinas need to hand in their applications by March 22, 2024.
Most of last year's crop of Binibining Pilipinas winners have all gone on to compete in the international pageants that they were put up for. Binibining Pilipinas Globe Anna Valencia Lakrini went to Albania last year to compete in the Miss Globe challenge, hoping to bring home the country's third Miss Globe crown after Ann Lorraine Colis won it in 2015 and Maureen Montagne won it in 2021.
Anna Valencia Lakrini would eventually go on to place second runner-up in the Miss Globe pageant.
Binibining Pilipinas International 2023 Angelica Lopez has not yet competed for the Miss International crown, but her predecessor, Nicole Borromeo, ended her journey in the Miss International pageant as third runner up after competing at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo last year.
