Binibining Pilipinas

Following the successful runs of Maureen Montagne and Cindy Obeñita, Binibining Pilipinas is looking for their possible successors.

Aspiring beauty queens who want a shot at winning international titles like Miss Globe and Miss Intercontinental better get themselves ready as the Binibining Pilipinas organization is now looking for new queens to take on the challenge.

In posts on their social media accounts, the organization put up a poster showcasing their current reigning queens - including international titleholders Miss Globe 2021 Maureen Montagne and Miss Intercontinental 2021 Cindy Obeñita - along with the announcement of pre-event activities, including the latest Binibini Search. The organization is also bringing back the Flores de Mayo celebration as well as a talent competition “and more.”

Cinderella “Cindy” Obeñita became the second Filipina to win the Miss Intercontinental crown after Boholana Karen Gallman first won it in 2018.

Upon her return to her province of Misamis Oriental, she received a grand welcome that involved a float adorned with beautiful white, gold, and purple flowers as well as visits to the provincial governor and to her alma mater, Liceo de Cagayan University.

Maureen Montagne also became the second Filipina to win The Miss Globe title following the 2015 win of Ann Colis.
