BLACKPINK made history in 2019 as the first K-Pop group to perform at Coachella. Now, the group is set to make another record by becoming the first K-Pop group to headline the annual music and arts festival.

BLACKPINK is coming to Coachella!

On January 10, Coachella released its line-up for 2023, which features K-pop girl group BLACKPINK, Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny, and American singer-songwriter Frank Ocean among the headliners.

Spotify's most-streamed artist in 2022 Bad Bunny will take the headline for the first set of shows on April 14 followed by another headline act on April 21. K-pop girl group BLACKPINK will headline the shows on April 15 and 22, while Frank Ocean will headline the shows scheduled on April 16 and 23.

BLACKPINK expressed their gratitude for becoming the first K-pop act to headline Coachella.

Their official Instagram posted on Wednesday, "Honored and excited to announce that BLACKPINK will be headlining @coachella 2023. See you in the desert! Presale starts Friday, January 13th at 11am PT. Register for the presale now at Coachella.com.

The girls previously performed at Coachella in 2019, which marked their first time to grace the event.

Currently, BLACKPINK is doing its Born Pink World Tour and is scheduled to perform in The Philippine Arena on March 25 and 26, 2023.
