After the successful launch of her debut album R and the fantastic reception for her lead single "On The Ground" across the world, BLACKPINK idol Rosé has another surprise for her fans by officially launching her own YouTube channel.
Rosé's YouTube channel has caught the attention of many, gaining over 500,000 subscribers as of writing after her first vlog was released today, March 18.
BLINKS would absolutely love Rosé's first vlog entry showing exclusive clips from her childhood.
The K-pop star also talked about her life even before she became a global superstar being part of BLACKPINK.
Speaking in Korean, she told the story about how her parents came up with her English name Roseanne.
“I was born in New Zealand so I needed an English name.
“My parents apparently bought a name book, I think it was my dad who looked through it. So, they were searching through names and he came across the name 'Roseanne.'
“I think dad found that name to be really nice so they decided on that,”
In addition, Rosé shared how her love for music developed at an early age.
“I would sleep two to three hours after coming back from school and after I woke up, I would play the piano. I enjoy it playing it so much, I think that's when I started to grow my love for music.”
