K-pop girl group BLACKPINK and battle royale video game PUBG Mobile is embarking on a new collaboration with “The Virtual,” giving Blinks and fans of the mobile game a completely unique experience.

Initially announced on the mobile game's social media accounts, “The Virtual” is the first ever PUBG Mobile in-game concert by BLACKPINK that will run from July 22 to 23 and 29 to 30 in North and South America. It will dominate the rest of the world from July 23 to 24 and from July 30 to July 31.

Blinks will get to see the members perform some of their chart-topping hits at the in-game event as well as a special track and a new music video produced specifically by BLACKPINK for the collaboration with PUBG Mobile.

Along with that, players can also get the eye-catching custom-made performance suits members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa will wear during their performance at the in-game concert. Sparkle and shine on the battlefield with these outfits that will be available for players starting July 23 until August 31.

To secure tickets for the in-game concert, fans have to download PUBG Mobile on their digital phones and preload the so-called Concert Resource Pack. Blinks will also lead the artists in-game by providing them gifts and in exchange be given promotional material. A lot of other special rewards will be given, so download the game now!

YG Entertainment shared in a press release, “As it is a concert held in the virtual world, in addition to music and performances, various entertainments will provide fans with a special and interesting experience. We all can enjoy various aspects of BLACKPINK that would be different from the real world.”

Head of PUBG Mobile Publishing at Tencent Games, Vincent Wang, also said, “PUBG MOBILE is honored to be partnering with BLACKPINK again as we continue to deepen the connection between their amazing music and our game. Our first ever in-game concert is set to be a groundbreaking event, expanding the ever-evolving world of PUBG MOBILE and setting the stage for a BLACKPINK comeback that will be remembered for years to come. BLACKPINK and PUBG Mobile have previously collaborated in 2020 to celebrate the launch of BLACKPINK's first studio album titled THE ALBUM.
