BLACKPINK member Jennie is looking forward to slowing down after an eventful summer packed with festival performances and preparations for her upcoming album.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan, the K-pop star shared that she plans to take an extended break after wrapping up her festival schedule. Jennie said she hopes to spend the time resting, traveling around Europe, and enjoying activities outside of work following months of nonstop commitments.
The singer also reflected on embracing uncertainty when it comes to her future. Unlike previous years, Jennie said she is intentionally leaving the next two to three years less structured, allowing herself room to discover new goals and experiences as they come.
"I'm leaving a little blank space in my head to see if there's anything else I want to reach for," she said. "It's very special, the unknowingness. It gives me space to just think. I'm seeing it as a great opportunity. But for now, I'm spending every minute and second in it."
Jennie is gearing up to release her new album, which will include her single "Less Than A Lover" along with several new tracks she has previewed during recent performances.
