Blackpink's Jisoo is finally back on screen!
Get ready to see Blackpink's Jisoo in a whole new light!
On Tuesday, January 7, Prime Video dropped the trailer of the singer's newest acting project, Newtopia.
The zombie K-drama will premiere on Coupang Play and Prime Video on February 7.
Jisoo portrays Yeong Ju, a woman grappling with a complicated relationship with her boyfriend, Park Jung Min, amidst the chaos of a zombie apocalypse.

After the trailer was released, Blinks took to social media to share their reaction to Jisoo's new K-drama.
One user said, "#JISOO as Kang Youngjoo in 'Newtopia.' Youngjoo's character is giving me a different side of JISOO from her previous drama. For sure, we will get a lot of suspense, comedy, and drama just by watching the trailer. I can't take how she just broke up then in just one snap, she wanted to go to her bf (ex) with just a golf club fighting zombies with it."
"Jisoo with only 2 dramas under her belt (one is unreleased and only has a trailer) already has shown more range than most idol actors and even normal Korean actors nowadays," another wrote.
Previously, Jisoo first appeared in the 2021 melodrama Snowdrop with Jung Hae In.
