A Belgian fashion designer who previously claimed that outfits loaned for BLACKPINK member Jisoo's photoshoot had not been returned has since clarified that the issue was a “misunderstanding.”
Benjamin Voortmans, founder of the Belgian fashion brand Judassime, earlier shared a post saying that several pieces sent to Korea for Jisoo's album photoshoot around six months ago had yet to be returned.
According to the designer, the missing items included three key pieces from a previous collection and were considered valuable archive garments.
As the issue gained attention online due to Jisoo's global popularity, Benjamin later uploaded another video reported by Korea JoongAng Daily, clarifying his earlier statements and addressing the backlash he had received.
“I never attacked Jisoo. I used her name to get a response from her team,” he explained, while also asking netizens to stop sending malicious comments.
Benjamin added that the matter was already being handled and said a staff member would be sent to Korea to retrieve the items.
“It's being resolved,” he said.
As of this writing, Jisoo's agency has not released an official statement regarding the issue.
