BLACKPINK member Lisa released a short film for her song "Dream" on Thursday. It features Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi in a story of love and loss.
The five-minute video was posted on the YouTube channel of Lisa's label, LLOUD Official. "Dream" opens with the 28-year-old singer at a funeral, where she meets Sakaguchi.
They drive off together, with black-and-white scenes revealing moments from their past relationship. The story ends with a heartbreaking twist.
The Thai star just scored her third MTV Video Music Awards nomination for "Born Again," her hit collaboration with Doja Cat and RAYE. Lisa also made history for being the first female solo artist to win the MTV Video Music Awards Best K-pop Award twice.
Earlier this year, she scored her first No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart with "Alter EGO", which also debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 amid massive fanfare. Lisa later stepped into acting, portraying Mook in season 3 of The White Lotus.
