Umaapaw sa pagmamahal ang naging mensahe ni Bodie Cruz para sa pumanaw niyang nakatatandang kapatid na si TJ Cruz.

Lumabas ang balita tungkol sa pagkamatay ng panganay na anak ng aktor na si Tirso Cruz III at Lyn Ynchausti dahil sa sakit na lymphatic cancer kahapon, November 21. Siya ay 37 years old.

Bukod kina TJ at Bodie, may anak din na babae sina Tirso at Lyn, si Djanin Cruz.

Sa pamamagitan ng Instagram post kagabi, ibinahagi ni Bodie ang isang pahayag sa bibliya mula sa Psalm 23:6, “Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

Kasunod nito ay ang paglalarawan niya tungkol sa anim na buwang paglaban ni TJ sa kanyang sakit na cancer.

Pahayag ni Bodie, “The battle with cancer for the past 6 months was tough, but it was also a time we got to experience God's love and faithfulness in abundance as a family.

"I am so grateful to the Lord for your life that was filled with passion, boldness and love.

“You desired nothing but to serve God and to glorify Him through dancing.

“Now, you will be able to do it free from sickness and pain, and in front of our Creator Himself--and you get to worship Him there forever.

“I love you, Kuya. Thank you to everyone who stood with us in prayer. Today, Kuya TJ has received the miracle of healing that we have believed God for. He is faithful.”

Ang director na si Joey Reyes ay sinariwa ang pagkakataong nakatrabaho niya sa isang pelikula si TJ.

Aniya, “He was not even in his teens when he starred with Patrick Garcia, John Pratts & CJ Ramos in 1995's ROLLERBOYS, a movie I directed.

“And at a very early age he has gone back to the arms of our Father. Rest well, TJ Cruz. You will be so missed.”
