Comedian Boobay said his good friend Allan K is staying strong amid closing of his comedy bars Klownz and Zirkoh.
All-Out Sundays comedian Boobay gave an update on his friend Allan K's take on the closing of the latter's comedy bars Klownz and Zirkoh amid the pandemic.
Allan K sa pagsasara sa Zirkoh at Klownz: "Para akong namatayan ng anak."
During an online interview, Boobay said, "Dumating 'yung hindi inaasahan na kailangan mag-close 'yung pinagtatrabahuan namin na Klownz.
"Nakasama ko nitong mga nakaraang araw si Mr. Allan K and nakita ko sa kaniya 'yung pagiging very positive, kagaya ko.
He added, "Matapos lang itong COVID-19 na ito, hindi pa doon nagtatapos 'yun...once you're a performer, you will always be a performer."
Boobay also added that his fellow comedians have been using social media as a tool to still reach out to viewers and give comedy livestreams.
"Yes marami po talagang nangyaring changes pero nung una mahirap ang adjustment, pero tayong mga performer magaling tayo sa mga pasikot-sikot.
"'Yung mga kakilala kong dating nasa comedy bar nag-o-online show ngayon. Malaking bagay 'yun na nagagawa nila para maka-survive sila."
Meanwhile, Boobay is ecstatic about the recent TV comeback of his program All-Out Sundays after going off air for the past four months.
