Why did Boobay compare himself to Chocnut while Jose Manalo, Isko "Brod Pete" Salvador and Eugene Domingo are the more "popular" chocolate?

On the two-year milestone that Celebrity Bluff is reaching this month, it still hasn’t sunk in on Boobay that she’s part of the show.

“[‘Di ako makapaniwala sa] part na nandun ako. Overwhelmed pa rin ako until now na nakakasabay ko si Kuya Jose, Kuya Brod Pete and Miss Uge,” he said.

Boobay believes that one of the reasons of the show’s longevity is the rapport among him, host Eugene Domingo and fellow Gangnams Jose Manalo and Isko “Brod Pete” Salvador.

“Pamilya. 'Yun kami... Kung walang rapport, walang mangyayari. May sasabihin 'yung [isa] at de-dedmahin [nung iba], hindi iikot. Walang mabubuo na istorya, walang mabubuo na bagong punch line,” he added.

He, for one, is thankful to be surrounded with three people who are naturally funny and generous.

“[Masaya ako na makasama sa] mga batikan na komedyante,” he declared.

Though he is the youngest, both in age and experience, the three never gave him a reason to feel left out. That for him is the greatest honor and the biggest inspiration to work harder.

“Ako, super pakiramdam ko talaga [na] super blessed ako na maka-mix sa chocolates na palaging kinakain ng mga tao. Sila 'yun. Ganun ko sila siguro ma-de-describe,” he noted.

To be in the same ‘box’ as them is an opportunity he wouldn’t want to waste.

“[Paborito silang chocolates ng mga tao] tapos biglang nandun na ko. Nakiki-join sa kanila. Eh sino ba ko? Chocnut lang naman ako, tapos biglang na-mix sa kanila. So naging maganda 'yung timpla kasi may variety,” he concluded.
