"My deepest condolences because I didn't get the chance," taos-pusong sinabi ng host.
"You know how close your sister is to me, and you know how fond I am of you. But I really apologize because right at that very moment, hindi man lang ako nakatawag. 'Yung totoo, from the bottom of my heart."
Thank you so much."
"I'm sorry if we never got back right away. You know it was, and you would know this, like, how hard that being in that bubble is. Sometimes you don't read messages. You don't read your emails," ani Anne.
"Finally, I'm back, and Jasmine is back as well. Work is a great outlet to just kind of, like, start moving forward."
“I've said this, the grief really comes in waves," pahayag niya.
"Like, one day I am okay, and the next thing [my daughter] Dahlia will say, 'I miss Granddad,' and then, I'm just like a mess. Yeah, it comes in waves. But you know, each day, as you said earlier, Tito Boy, parang you never actually…"
"It never goes away, I'm sorry to say, it never goes away," aniya.
"My psychiatrist told me and said, 'Make that your connection to your mother.' So, every time you cry na hindi ka handa, because you can do that in the middle of a journey literally, you can do that habang taking a shower, use that as an expression of love."
“And you know, even Dahlia told me when I had my little breakdown in front of her, she was shocked but she said, 'You know, Mama, just think that Granddad is a cloud in front of you.' So now, when I look at the clouds, it's something that I always remember my dad,” sabi ni Anne.
