
The 2020 Soribada Best K-Music Awards gave recognition to the biggest and brightest Korean music artists in a ceremony held on August 13 at the Olympics Gymnastics Arena in Seoul, South Korea. The awards ceremony was hosted by Jun Hyun-moo and Jin Se-yeon and presented by P2P search portal and MP3 service company Soribada with the winners determined by the Soribada's internal data, international mobile votes, and ratings from judges.
K-pop boy group BTS dominated the awards along with girl group TWICE and Korean artist Kang Daniel. BTS won the Daesang (Grand Prize), Bonsang (Main Prize), and Favorite Male Bias Awards. The boys of BTS were unable to attend the event and gave a virtual message for their fans.
Meanwhile, TWICE earned the Artist of the Year, Bonsang, and Favorite Female Bias Award.
Kang Daniel took home the Stage of the Year, Real Fan Award, and a Bonsang Award.
Other awardees include Red Velvet for Music of the Year Award, TXT and ITZY for the Artist Awards, Stray Kids and IZ*ONE for the Global Hot Trend Awards.
TWICE, BTS, Red Velvet, MAMAMOO, IZ*ONE, NCT Dream, VICTON, Oh My Girl, AB6IX, GFriend, ASTRO, Kang Daniel, Lim Young Woong were awarded the Bonsang Awards.
