
Jimin of the global group BTS is set to drop an early holiday treat for their fans with his upcoming digital single, "Closer Than This."
BigHit Music, the group's record label, shared the exciting announcement on Weverse.
According to the label, Jimin's upcoming single is a "heartfelt fan song that encapsulates Jimin's genuine feelings for ARMY."
BigHit added that they hope the lyrics of the track will bring "hope and warmth" as it conveys the vocalist-dancer's "love and affection for his fans."

"Closer Than This" will be released on December 22, Friday, at 2 p.m. KST (1:00 p.m. in Manila).
Jimin dropped his first solo album, FACE, last March 2023, with the chart-topping song "Like Crazy" being its title track.
Jimin and the rest of BTS are currently fulfilling their mandatory military services.
BTS is set to reconvene in 2025.
