BTS Jin


BTS's Jin is participating at the Paris Olympics 2024 as part of the torchbearers.

BTS member Jin has been selected as a torchbearer for the Paris Olympics in 2024.

According to a report from The Korea Herald, Jin is scheduled to travel to France for the Olympics.

The 31-year-old idol is among the estimated 11,000 torchbearers for the Paris Olympics 2024.

Also included as torchbearers are actress Halle Berry, athletes Shaun White and Xiaxin Yang, former basketball star Tony Parker, Princess Gabriella of Monaco, Holocaust survivors, relatives of Nice terror attack victims, astronauts, sanitation workers, among many others.

According to the official website for the Olympics, "By carrying the Olympic Flame and the Paralympic Flame on the roads of France, the Torchbearers will launch the start of celebrations throughout the country."

The 2024 Paris Olympics will take place from July 27 to August 11, with more than 15,000 athletes from 206 countries.

They are expected to compete in 329 events within 32 sports.

Meanwhile, Jin is becoming more active in public appearances following his military discharge on June 12.

The K-pop idol is reportedly recording new music and shall be appearing in variety shows in the coming months.
