BTS member Jin celebrated his 33rd birthday by giving back in a major way. The K-pop superstar marked his special day by donating ₱4 million to charity, choosing to extend help to those in need.
Jin celebrated his 33rd birthday on December 4. He is also the eldest member of the South Korean boy group BTS.
According to a report from Korean entertainment outlet Soompi, the BTS member donated 100 million Korean won, around ₱4 million, to charity as part of his celebration.
Earlier this week, the singer extended his support to the Busan Namgwang Social Welfare Society, choosing to share his blessing by contributing to the organization's ongoing community initiatives.
The Busan Namgwang Social Welfare Society confirmed that Jin's contribution will benefit underprivileged members of the community, with a special focus on programs for children and the youth.
According to Soompi, the 33-year-old singer's donation will help fund the organization's talent-support scholarship program, aimed at assisting disadvantaged children and young people transitioning out of childcare institutions.
