
Jungkook of the global group BTS surprised their fans with the news of a brand new song to be released this week.
The group's record label, BigHit Music, on Weverse announced that the new fan song, "Never Let Go," by Jungkook is dropping this Friday.
According to BigHit, the song is a "heartfelt tribute to Jung Kook's fans" and captures the message "to never let go of each other's hands."
It added that the upcoming track is a "token of gratitude for the boundless love from ARMY all over the world."

"We appreciate your anticipation and excitement for the new track," BigHit continued.
"Never Let Go" will be released on June 7, Friday, at 1 p.m. KST (12 p.m. in Manila).
The brand new song is dropping almost a week ahead of BTS's 11th anniversary on June 13.
In 2022, Jungkook released "My You" as part of the 2022 BTS Festa, the celebration of the band's anniversary.

In an earlier announcement, BigHit said an outdoor event will be held on June 13, Thursday, as part of the band's 11th anniversary celebration.
At the same time, Jin is set to host an in-person event on June 13, which is said to be a "time for light hugs with Jin per request from the artist." Jin will be discharged from the military by then.
"This event was prepared in order to fulfill Jin's wish to spend meaningful time with ARMY in person on BTS's debut day," a part of the announcement read.
All members of BTS are currently fulfilling their mandatory military services.
The group is set to reconvene in 2025.
