SUGA of BTS

Are you ready for Agust D?

SUGA of the South Korean supergroup BTS surprised fans as he dropped the dates for his upcoming first solo tour under his alter ego, Agust D.

The group's record label, BigHit Music, shared the announcement on February 15 at 12 a.m. KST (11 p.m. in Manila), just as SUGA was doing a livestream on Weverse.

The tour is scheduled to begin this April and will kick off in the United States.

The rapper-producer is set to perform at Belmont Park on April 26 to 27; Newark on April 29; Rosemont on May 3, 5, and 6; Los Angeles on May 10, 11, and 14; and Oakland on May 16 to 17.

Jakarta will be the first stop of the Asian leg of the solo tour on May 26 to 28, followed by Bangkok on June 10 and 11, and Singapore on June 17 to 18.

He will then take over the Seoul stage on June 24 to 25, while tour dates for Japan will be announced soon.

SUGA is the first member of BTS to hold a solo tour.

As Agust D, he has previously released two mixtapes--Agust D in 2016 and D-2 in 2020--which include his hit songs, “Agust D,” “Give It to Me,” “Daechwita,” “People,” among others.

Meanwhile, SUGA was appointed as the new brand ambassador of luxury fashion brand Valentino and even flew to Paris for the recent Haute Couture Week.
