SUGA also recently finished his solo tour.

SUGA of the global group BTS will be the next member to fulfill his mandatory military service, following Jin and J-hope.

BigHit Music, the group's record label, announced the news on Weverse on Monday (August 7).

According to BigHit's announcement, the rapper-producer initiated his military enlistment process “by applying for the termination of his enlistment postponement.”

No other details have been released yet as BigHit said further updates will be given “in due course.”

“We ask you for your continued love and support for SUGA until he completes his military service and safely returns. Our company will spare no effort in providing support for our artist,” it added.

In October 2022, BigHit announced that all BTS members will be fulfilling their mandatory military services, starting with Jin.

Jin enlisted in December 2022, followed by J-hope in April 2023.

The group is set to reconvene in 2025.
