BTS Dynamite

Suga says he's eyeing for BTS perform in the Grammy stage.

“What Min Yoongi wants, Min Yoongi gets,” says the fans of K-pop phenomenon BTS as the group recently reached their career milestone when they landed the top spot at Billboard's Hot 100 with “Dynamite.”

That's why during their Global Media Day, the members, most especially Suga (Min Yoongi), expressed their deepest gratitude to the ARMY.

He said to the members of the press, “I'm still having a hard time grasping this is real.

“We talked a lot about our goals and I often said No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It's not like we worked hard and strove to reach this goal, but when it comes true, it feels like a dream.

“There was a surge in my heart when we finally realized our dream. When I checked the chart early in the morning, I pinched myself to see if it's real. Maybe because I have been listening to songs on the Billboard chart since I was very little, I feel honored.

“So, I want to sincerely thank all of our ARMY."

Furthermore, Suga said he's very happy that all his goals have become reality but will be careful what he says when it comes to their next goal as a group.

The rapper clarified, “This new song, 'Dynamite,' it's not that we released it to make it to the Billboard Hot 100.

“We simply put it out to send more energy in the world. I am very happy that so many people listened to this and became energized. That fact, alone, makes me happier than topping the Hot 100 chart.”

He admitted that he feels pressured to come up with a new goal, but if he has to say one it would probably be to perform on the Grammy stage with his members.

He added, “It would be great to receive a Grammy award but that's not going to become a reality just because we want it. We need a lot of help from a lot of people.”

On September 1, BTS claimed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with the digital single “Dynamite,” making them the first Korean act to dominate the charts.

The pop song is the boy group's first-ever all English song conveying the desire to send a message of hope and energy to everyone struggling during the pandemic.
