
BTS member V and American singer UMI gifted their fans this holiday with the announcement of a collaboration song titled "wherever u r."
The upcoming release was confirmed in BTS's X (formerly Twitter) account while UMI also posted the teaser mat with the caption "a gift from umi and Tae to you."
The most awaited song will be posted on December 30 at 2:00 p.m. KST and on December 29 at 9:00 p.m. PST (Pacific Standard Time).

Previously, UMI also posted a sneak peek video of V recording the song on her official social media page. The singer also wished the K-pop artist the best in his mandatory military service and promised she would continue to share the singer's message while he's away.

Besides V, UMI was also seen with other K-pop celebrities like TWICE Sana, P1 Harmony, LOONA Choerry and Kimlip for her mini dance challenge with her song "why don't we go."
UMI is a known R&B singer-songwriter who creates music tracks intending to heal and uplift her listeners. She is famous for her songs "Remember me," "Butterfly," "Down to Earth," and "Friendzone." The American singer will also release her new EP Talking to the Wind on January 19.
Meanwhile, V is a member of the famous K-pop boy group BTS, who also released hit solo songs like "Slow Dancing," "Rainy Days," and "Love Me Again."
All members of the group are currently enlisted in the military as V and RM joined on December 11 while other members Jimin and Jungkook on December 12.
