Some of the most promising comedians were the special guest this Friday afternoon on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda with the newest Batang Bubble lighting up the episode of the award-winning talk show with their charisma and wit.
The winners of the Bubble Gang ng Bayan led by Cartz Udal, Aaron Maniego, Aly Alday, Erika Davis and Jona Ramos sat down with the King of Talk to share their experience being part of Bubble Gang, which celebrated its 30th anniversary on television in 2025.
Erika Davis spoke about her learnings doing the Pambansang gag show that helped her to be more confident and natural with her comedy.
She explained, “This is something I learned recently lang. So medyo 'yung nerves ko, so, I was kinda excited. So, parang inadvise ako ni Paolo [Contis] na kailangan ko talagang mag-relax, kasi minsan I get too excited. And it kinda comes of not natural.
“So, sometimes what I learn is to take a deep breath in and out and to let out the little nerves and excitement out, so it comes natural.”
Meanwhile, Aaron Maniego explained the things he had to "unlearn."
“We are trying to unlearn po 'yung sense of control” the newbie comedian noted.
For the new resident bombshell of Bubble Gang, Aly Alday, she stated that working with the multi-awarded comedian Michael V. is a highlight of her Bubble Gang experience.
Aly emphasized that they learned a lot seeing Direk Bitoy's humility in spite of his high stature in show business.
“Ang dami po tinuro, not just Michael V. but lahat ng cast sa amin. Since, you mentioned Michael V. he is an inspiration para sa akin, kasi despite being Michael V., I saw him as a very humble person na laging maaga.
“He is very down to earth, nakikisama sa amin and I think that is something I learned and I will forever learn. Kasi, that's humility na isasaloob mo sa sarili mo.”
Experience 'More Tawa, More Saya' moments on Bubble Gang every Sunday night on its new timeslot of 6:15 p.m..
