Bugoy Drilon to Hansen: “This is not a goodbye because I will see you again in Heaven.”
Ramdam ang pighati ng OPM singer na si Bugoy Drilon sa post nito sa Instagram nang magpaalam ito sa kaibigan na si Hansen Nichols.
Si Hansen ay batchmate ni Bugoy sa defunct reality singing contest na Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2 (2008).
Nag-post si Bugoy kahapon January 12, ng ilang larawan ni Hansen sa kaniyang Instagram page, kung saan naka-tag ang personal account din nito. Makikita sa post naman ni Hansen noong February 8, 2023 na sinabi niya muli siyang na-diagnosed ng stage 4 cancer. Dinapuan ang dating reality show contestant ng kanser sa atay.
“Being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer the first time when I was younger was one of the hardest things I had ever gone through in my life! Being diagnosed again with another stage 4 cancer for a second time wasn't and hasn't been any easier!” saad ni Hansen.
“This is the reason I have been absent from Social Media as I have been battling this deadly/dreadful disease all over again”

Isang mahabang liham ang ibinahagi ni Bugoy para sa yumaong kaibigan at itinuturing daw niyang “blessing” si Hansen sa kaniyang buhay.
Aniya, “Hansen, My core friend , my brother. I love you so much and I am so blessed to have you in my life. You are such a beautiful soul!
“Our bond is one of a kind - so special and I wouldn't change it for the world!
“I promise you that I will always be there by your side. You always understand me, you always think of people first more than yourself, that everyone is always okay.
“You always believed in me. You always believed that I will make it in the journey and career that I choose and that I always do my best.”
Dagdag pa ni Bugoy na “proud” siya sa lahat ng achievements ni Hansen na isang “inspirasyon” sa maraming tao.
“You fought very well and your hardest and I am so proud of you!!! You did your best to stay with us. You are a great warrior!
“I miss you so much I miss your laugh, hugs and your wisdom! You are truly an inspiration.
“I am happy that you are surrounded by love, up to your last breath. I am very proud of you and all your achievements. You have touched the lives of so many people including mine. And this is a testament of how beautiful you are as a person.”
Pagpapatuloy nito, “This is not a goodbye because I will see you again in Heaven. You are always in my prayers and I will always think of you through all the memories we've shared.
“Until then, I will miss you so much. My heart is pleased knowing that you are surrounded by love until your last breath. I love you, Hansen, my best friend. You mean the world to me. See you on the other side.”
