Looking forward to the idea of retirement and finally settling down at home is enticing to most people. However, some retirees or senior citizens are not yet ready to stop working, especially if there are easy and available ways for them to stay productive and earn money.
In an episode of Mars Pa More, celebrity guests Odette Khan and Pinky Marquez talked about their personal businesses that are ideal for senior citizens.
Veteran actress Odette explained that she has been crafting handmade dreamcatchers for a long time.
“Matagal ko nang Shinagawa [ito] kasi nakakapagod din. I cannot say kung three hours [or more]. Huwag ka magmamadali, kasi nasa katawan mo kung may energy ka o kung wala,” she said.
She even emphasized, “I don't force myself.”
The two Mars Pa More hosts agreed. Camille Prats said, “It's just when you feel like doing it.”
“When I'm in the mood, that's it,” Odette added.

The celebrity guest also described how dreamcatchers work.
“Sa American Indians, ang paniniwala nila, [para] sa bangungot daw ito. Bad dreams will be caught here in the web and only good dreams will pass through the small hole,” she said.
On the other hand, actress and singer Pinky Marquez is involved in Do-It-Yourself scents that started as a passion for making her home smell good.
“This is a business I have with my sister, we're only two, and it started as a passion of making our home smell good - our bathroom, our rooms, our kitchen,” she explained.
Pinky then detailed that aside from designing scents, she also does the customizing, packaging, and meeting with clients.
