Milk tea places, in particular, are adopting new practices to actively take part in this sustainable and environment-friendly trend. To help reduce waste, a few milk tea stores are allowing their customers to bring their reusable cups.

1. Serenitea

After more than a decade in the local market, Serenitea continues to be among the leaders in the milk tea business now that it has also adapted the zero waste movement.

Serenitea allows its customers to use their reusable tumblers. The milk tea place also offers its very own thermal suction bottles, steel straws, and reusable utensils to further reduce waste when consuming their products.

Serenitea encourages this zero waste practice in their pioneer branch in San Juan and all their other 64 branches nationwide.

2. Coco Fresh Tea & Juice

Taiwanese brand Coco Fresh Tea & Juice also lets you experience a boost of freshness in reusable cups.

Coco Fresh Tea & Juice shares to GMANetwork.com that they will be “more than happy to use your own environmental-friendly containers.”

Macao Imperial Tea has specifically designed their cups to discourage the use of single-use plastic.

4. YiFang Taiwan Fruit Tea

Another Taiwanese brand, YiFang Taiwan Fruit Tea accommodates customers who wish to use their own tumblers.

Cha Tuk Chak encourages their patrons to reuse their own CTC cups or to bring their reusable tumblers by availing their drinks at a discounted price. It tells GMANetwork.com , “Our cups are made of Plastic #5 or Polypropylene (PP). It is strong, tough, and has a high resistance to heat.”
